Health services in Sør-Trøndelag
The hospital services in Sør-Trøndelag are united in the health enterprise St. Olavs Hospital. Much of the hospital activity is located on Øya in Trondheim, where a new hospital is under construction, but there is considerable activity in other parts of the county as well:
• Hospitals on Røros and in Orkdal
• The heart clinic St. Elisabeth
• Munkvoll rehabilitation centre
• Three psychiatric hospitals (Østmarka, Brøset and Haukåsen)
• Three district psychiatric centres (Orkdal, Leistad and Tiller)
• Psychiatric clinic for children and youth
• Psychiatric youth-team
• A number of psychiatric policlinics
